Hi! Introduce yourself, who is “MrBattleControl” in real life? How did you get involved in the LWM project, and what is the most interesting thing in this game?
Hey! I am 18 years old and I just finished school. I currently live in Greece, but I plan to move to another European country when I finish my University studies. I don't really remember how I got introduced in LWM, but I think it was through a friend of mine that has now stopped playing.
The most interesting part is definitely the community. I don't really like fighting, but the nice community we have keeps me busy :)
Okay, so you are in charge of the International Community Council. How is it going right now?
Right now we are focusing on the Tutor Program, which is an ICC collective effort, and the English (and timely) translations of Official Announcements and articles.
So, what is the Tutor Program about?
The basic ideas behind this Program are to help the Community in general to hold on to newbies; to help .com MCs (since they're an integral part of the community and it's our job to help), and, of course, to help newbies better integrate our community and have an improved LWM experience.
How do you see the interaction between players from .com and .ru?
Excluding the language barrier, we seem to get along good enough. Some .ru players like Lesena, Beliar and Усмешка have shown great interest in helping us with the translations, which is awesome. To my mind, the merger was a success for us commies :)
