Three years ago, we analysed the history of politics in the game. Since then, much has changed: facility shares have been divided amongst players, several new alternative classes have appeared, and even another faction. All this greatly influenced the political alignment of forces and, believe me, not one, but several conspiracies have ripened in the Empire. But who will be at the head of the rebellion?

Let's uncover a map of the political factions of the Empire.

The Magicians of Sunny City

«You're not quite right, Senior Advisor ... You and I are both well aware that you knew of Cyrus' plans from the beginning. But that's not the point... There is a game going on – a game that is colossal in its scope, where even we are not such significant figures. I see your usefulness no worse than yourself, and I understand that you are the right person for the Empire. Step up and take your place in Sunny City. It is quite possible that very soon both of your monarchs will need you.»

Investigator Feurlis to Senior Advisor Sorish

For a long time at the head of Sunny City, the capital of magicians, stood King Cyrus. The wizard had great authority and was completely loyal to the Empire. But after many years of seemingly peaceful coexistence, it turned out that Cyrus was plotting against the Empress. The rebellion was revealed even too simply: when the king was discovered in the Cloud City, hovering over the capital. In the company of a group of the disciples of Abu-Bakir, he discussed a plan to destroy the current government.

In 2014, a senior adviser to the traitor king Cyrus - Sorish - appeared within the walls of the Sunny City along with a group of magicians with unusual abilities. This magic was known only by the army of an old enemy of the Empress, Sorish offered his services and promised to train the chaos magicians who would stand under the banner of the Empire. After a long interrogation, the interrogating officer Feurlis reported to the leadership that Sorish's intentions were pure, without mentioning the details of a personal conversation in which he hinted at the benefits of the magician for both rulers: the Empress and Cyrus.

Since then, Sorish has held the position of Archmage/Governor of the Sunny City, continuing to spy for Cyrus.

This event is important because it affects the rule of magicians in general:

  1. In fact, the Empress got rid of the elected Council of Magicians in Sunny City, leaving the management of the settlement to his protégé Sorish. Who can easily be removed in the future, accused of collusion with Cyrus.
  2. A new strong political figure has emerged who speaks on behalf of magicians, in addition to His Majesty Abu-Bakir. The undermined authority of the Council of Magicians after the episode with the theft of the Elemental Carbuncle only helped him to strengthen his position.

A strong move to strengthen the dictatorship of the Empire was to divide the magical community, which after the fierce war of 2008 rallied against the troops of the Empress. Following the Great King of Magicians - Cyrus, who broke the peace treaty.

As we can see, it worked. Many magicians took to battle and the community of wizards was divided into two camps, supporting either the Council of Magicians or a group of sorcerers under Archmage Sorish. Echoes of this conflict we still see in the face of "mighty wizards", who took control of the army of chaos magicians, but did not take in faith their doctrine of magic.

Of the famous magicians, we also note the scholar Bilir, known for his craving for the magic of time and space. At first, he was in solidarity with Abu-Bakir in everything, but gradually disputes appeared, the conflict grew and they became rivals.

Now the wizards of the Sunny City enjoy the trust of the Empire, but as we know, they still cannot choose a side and still believe in Cyrus and his idea of overthrowing the Empress.

Necromancer of the Empire. Followers of Surtaz

«Do you remember Surtaz, Empress? I've been waiting a long time for this day. You didn't recognise my power then, recognize it now!»

Necromancer Surtaz

From the very first appearance of necromancers in the Empire, the attitude towards them was, to put it mildly, negative. For example, instead of trials and prison, their criminals were immediately thrown at the stake. Necromancers were hired for work that no one was ready to take: they sold bones in the market, engaged in interrogation and persecution of debtors.

The construction of the Arena of Death by the necromancer Serpanion glorified his name and served as the beginning of a new format for Blindfold Tournaments. It seemed that the necromancers were justified to the Empire, but then Surtaz appeared… The necromancer for some unknown reason cursed the entire population of the imperial lands and deprived them of many abilities, for example, the resistance of barbarians to magic was torn away. The most popular version of events: during the public execution of the necromancer the chief assistant tp Surtaz was burned at the stake, and the real culprit of the invasion of the undead fled imperial lands.

After that, the necromancers for a long time gained fame as the most powerful and most despised heroes, and Surtaz for many years brought fear to all the inhabitants of the Empire. Interestingly, over time, the Imperials realised that Surtaz pursues only those who have committed some sin, crime and suffer remorse.

Followers of the art of necromancy were forced to work together, forming a secret network, a "web" of interrogators and spies, which braided the entire Empire. Even the Empress did not hesitate to call on themfor "dirty" work. However, they always pursued their own goals, known only to them. Strange people in black robes began to appear in different parts of the known world and follow the most important events in the lives of Lords and Ladies, supporting different sides in conflicts with the Empire.

Among the famous necromancers can be identified "Spider" Feurlis, who "weaved" a spy network throughout the Empire, collected information about the “"dark" life of Lords and Ladies and always appeared in the right place at the right time. He works from the creepy Tower of Oblivion, where he conducts bloody interrogations "for the good of the Empire" and raises the dead to learn their secrets. For him there are no authorities, for example, he has dusted Prince Albrecht to death, which has brought upon himself the eternal hatred of the Fire Clan, or organising covert missions to nullify unseen threats.

Let's also remember the necromancer Ella, who with cunning and ostentatious simplicity achieved the introduction of mass spellsof darkness, a mysterious necromancer who gave Abu-Bakir an artifact with an expert spell "Disruption Ray".

By the way, there is a very interesting and almost insane theory that Abu-Bakir is Surtaz. Allegedly, the magician went back in time during a future experiment with portals, could not return, went crazy and began to do everything to destroy the Empire. This theory appeared after the results of the portal of 2016. And later other evidence of the future madness of the magician began to be published, for example, hismaniacal desire to study the primordial darkness and the results of the investigation of councilor Feurlis.

No one knows what goals the necromancers of the Empire pursue. Surtaz is still hiding in an unknown location and may well be secretly controlling the faction.

The Elven Kingdom of King Altor IV

The Invisible Kingdom a stone's throw from the Empire developed and prospered without wars and bloodshed. The destruction of the Great Wall that hid the province from the rest of the world was the beginning of one of the most difficult wars in history. The invaders treated the enemiesin a far from humane way, which left an imprint on the attitude of the Kingdom to the Empire after the conclusion of peace.

Perhaps no one hated the Empress more than the inhabitants of the Kingdom. When they realised that they were losing the war because of the dwarves who had defected to the enemy, they used scorched-earth tactics, destroying all their enterprises and lands valuable to the Empire. There were rumors that the manic desire to destroy hostile heroes was the result of magic.

Only by the end of the war did it become known that the Kingdom was ruled byAltor IV the Lightbringer. The Empress responded to the offer of peace with war and vowed to capture the king of the elves, and destroy all resistance.

The empire won, but the elven people still believed that it was she who was the true evil, they also fought on the side of Nature. No one found confirmation that there was magic that influenced the mind of the army of the Kingdom, there were no "cursed" objects, no unique magic. The elves, who had been hiding from the "evil" Empire for many years, were even more embittered after their leader was imprisoned.

In 2015, King Altor IV the Lightbringer fled and retook the Kingdom's castle with supporters. He predictably lost after a short siege, but a mysterious magician dragged the fugitive into the portal and fled in an unknown direction. According to one theory, it was the necromancer survilurgs.

The king has not yet died, and with him the resistance is alive. With the support of the Survilugs, a rebellion can always flare up with renewed vigour.

Minor factions

King of the Elves without a name

Almost nothing is known about him. The king of the elves lived in an old dilapidated citadel, which hid behind its walls an army unprecedented in the Empire — containing creatures of the 6th tier. It is still unclear whether his castle was accidentally harbouring "monsters" of such power or he specifically built up military power to march on the lands of the Empress.

Peaceful camp workers

In 2007, a group of workers at the Peaceful camp plants rebelled due to delays in wages and attacked employees of facilities. To suppress the rebellion, the Lords and Ladies of the Empire were sent to the area. It is not known how many of the rebels managed to escape into the woods.

Clan "Justice"

For the first time warriors in green cloaks, calling for the dissolution of the Empire, appeared in 2011. Then they attacked the enterprises of Mr. Alvar Luvier- the manager of several mines. The Empire quickly figured out their lair in Eagle's Nest and destroyed more than 400 rebels. The Lords and Ladies were unable to kill their hydra overlord.

According to one version, the clan "Justice" was founded by the surviving workers of the Peaceful camp rebellion.

Alchemists of the Shining Mine Academy

There is a place for scientists in the Empire. Surprisingly, the Imperials learned to pour mithril only thanks to the translations of foreign textbooks by the alchemists of the academy.

Order of Chroniclers

Only the clerk Ayantis is known, collecting the opinion of the Lords and Ladies of the Empire on whether to continue the war with the Kingdom, or end it.

Deadly Cat Squad

Robbers led by a dark elf, preying on the road from the Capital to the East River.

Dwarves of King Tolgar

The dwarves have many clans, but one of them pretty much spoiled the opinion of their race in the eyes of the Empire. During the first invasion, the dwarves were banished from the map, during the second — they surrendered and became part of the people they hated.

Over time, the grievances were forgotten and the dwarves became full members of the Empire.

Order of Eternal Glory: Alec's Treasure Hunters

It is known that they travel the world in search of treasure and conduct training battles for тренировочные бои за money on the competition grounds. Also, Alec's brigades fight with Lords and Ladies in tournaments.

Reisar's Scarlet Blades

Mercenaries run by Alec's friend, Reisar. Often participate in tournaments and fill out applications for mass battles, if there are not enough Lords and Ladies. It was they who warned the Empire of the threat from the Wild Lands.

Forest Keepers

After a series of attacks by thieves on the forest keepers' dens, they decided to turn to the Empire and offer transport in exchange for protection. Later, thanks to this community, the Ranger Guild appeared.

Clan "Red Lily"

Another clan, which set as its goal the robbery of the facilities of the Empire. Unlike other similar communities, it was able to retain several of its leaders and eliminate those who were captured.

Elves of the Great Tree

An ancient clan of elven-spellcasters, forever sentenced to imprisonment on the branches of the Great Tree after the war with the Empire.

Economists of the Port City

In the trading capital of the Empire there would be found economists led by Arbat IV Flame-soul. They have carried out many reforms, but the main one is the emergence of facility shares.

Councilor Kh'Everst

He does not belong to any faction, but helps to solve any conflicts with light and dark elves.

Underground Elves

Lady At'Araxia and her people hid in caves for many years after the war with the Survilugs. Kh'Everst convinced them to become part of the Empire.

Fire Clan

Enemies of the dwarven clan of Tolgar, for whom Redbeard stole a priceless relic. King Lotgar's army of fire invaded the Empire in 2019, led by Admiral Rigg the Fiery Sail, who accused Tolgar of kidnapping Crown Prince Albrecht. And then literally in a day the former enemies became friends.

Later it turned out that behind the guise of Prince Albrecht was hidden, a murderer who fatally wounded councilor Kalirosh. The real prince died of torture at the hands of the necromancer Feurlis.

Cult of the Sun

Traitor King Cyrus' secret weapon: He once put his followers to sleep, but in 2018 awakened them again to attack the Empire. The curse of the tombs of the Sun was removed in a few days, but after a while the echoes of this dark magic arose again, including in the famous tomb of the Moon. When the curse was finally liftedо, the Sun Cultists became a full-fledged faction of the Empire – the Pharaohs. Some of them formed a community of Eclipse Pharaohs loyal to King Cyrus, but quickly fell under the pressure of imperial troops.

P.S. Fans of conspiracy theories are directed here : it is said about the belief in the Twin Gods who created this and the surrounding worlds (an allusion to Alexander and Maxim), and here, : that "The Gods ... dead." What does it mean? there are so many events around due to the fact that the game was sold to someone last year?...
