Lords celebrate Halloween
Halloween, or all Hallows eve, is celebrated on the last day of October. Halloween is a very ancient fest, has its roots from the pre-christian beliefs of celts, occupying the territory of modern Ireland. But, unlike many pagan celebrations and rituals, Halloween is not reset to the cultural wayside of civilization. On the contrary, according to some estimates, the scope of its celebrations can be compared with such popular holidays, as Christmas or St.Valentine's Day.
Editorial staff of the HWM-Daily newspaper have decided not to stand aside and suggests all the lords from the 5-th combat level be involved in the contest.

You can offer your work for the contest HERE
1. Any character (5+ combat level) can take part in the contest.
2. Additional characters can’t take part in it.
3. You have to send us a photo, made specially for the contest. Your photo has to be in the*.jpg format and not exceed 500 kb.
4. The usage of Photoshop is allowed during the second part of the contest. PhS can be used in terms of: 1. making a background 2. inserting other objects and characters 3. inserting a collage
5. You also need to make an additional picture using an identification code:
hwm/halloween13 < -- (this is your identification code)
The additional picture confirms that your work was made specially for the contest. It is made this way: you do one more photo during the creation of your contest work (with the same clothes, background, details, etc.), but you must hold any transparent surface with the identification code, written on it, in hands. This photo will not be exposed in the contest.
6. The participant has to provide 2 photos for the contest:
1-st thematic photo - you celebrate Halloween in a real life. Everything is easy: you should wear a zombie-suit, vampire or witch or other evil spirits (the usage of any graphic editor is forbidden).
2-nd thematic photo – your character celebrates Halloween. And here you should use your imagination. Besides the fact that you should be dressed as an evil spirit, it is necessary to give a clue what fraction does your character belong to. And, in order to succeed in this uneasy task, you are allowed to use graphic editors.
7. There are two stages of the contest:
The 1st round:all players of the Empire vote for the first thematic photo (only main characters, registered in the Daily Newspaper). If the quantity of participants is more than 40, the first 20 participants, who have got the maximum number of votes, pass to the next round. If their quantity is less than 40, the first 50% of participants pass to the next round. The 2nd round: judges vote for the second thematic photo.
8. Temporary framework of the contest:
Reception of works for the 1st round lasts from October 24, 2013 till October 29, 2013 inclusively. Pictures are available for viewing and voting from October 30, 2013 till October 31, 2013 inclusively.
.Reception of works for the 2nd round lasts from November 1, 2013 till November 3, 2013 inclusively.
The jury voting is scheduled for November 4, 2013, and on November 5 we will announce the winners.
9. Mailings with a voting request among the clans are forbidden for the participants. Advertisement of the works is forbidden too. If more than 50% of voices, given to a photo, belong to the players being in the same clan with the participant, the work will be removed from the contest.
10. Nicknames of the participants are hidden until the 2nd round.
The participants mustn't upload the contest works in their photo albums or any other resources before the end of the contest. Participants musn’t disclose their game nicknames until the end of 1st round!
11. The organizer has a right to remove the participant from the contest, if there are any suspicions about the voice frauds.
12. The prize fund consists of 600 000 
If you wish to increase a prize fund or to add your personal nomination: every player can make a transfer to Бочка гласности with an obligatory mark "Voluntary Contribution to the «Heroes celebrate Halloween contest» " in a protocol. 100% of contributions will be enlisted in a prize fund of the contest.
13. Prizes for the winners of this contest:
The 1st place - 40% of a prize fund
The 2nd place - 30% of a prize fund,
The 3rd place - 20% of a prize fund.
The remained 10% of a prize fund will be spent for incentive prizes :)
14. Rules of the contest can be changed and added anytime.

Q: Where can I take the number for an inscription of the identification code?
A: The inscription is identical for all participants.
Q: The identification code - what is it and where must I insert it?
A: Write it with a marker (or something similar) on any transparent surface. Then do an additional photo with the identification code, written on a transparent surface (you can hold it in hands). The identification code has to be visible in a shot.
Q: How many photos is it necessary to send in order to participate in the 1st round?
A: 2 photos: the main one and the 2nd one (additional) with the identification code.
Q: Is it necessary to send a photo for the 2nd round at once?
A: No. It is necessary to pass the 1st round, then there will be a reception of works for the following round.
Q: It is impossible to upload the work! What must I do?
A: - Check your registration and identification passing on a site;
- check the file format (the picture in the *.jpg format is required);
- check the file size (no more than 500 kb).

Q: What must I write in comments? And is it necessary?
A: No, it isn't necessary. But it is possible to write the explanation of your photo, a poem or something similar.
Q: Will the comment be appreciated in judging?
A: No. But it gives a chance to decorate your work and improve a perception of your photo.
