Трудности перевода

Сразу хочу заметить, что данный пост не имеет ничего общего с дотой, и мало чего общего с одноименным фильмом (всем советую посмотреть), просто уж больно хорошая фраза.

Так вот, пробовался я в переводчики в Дейли, да не взяли меня, т.к. посчитали мой перевод неудовлетворительным. В принципе, никаких претензий нет, ибо и сам понимаю, что перевод неидеальный, однако хотел написать кучу всякой ереси, которая меня удивила, но потом вспомнил, что это ГеВеДе и понял, что нечему удивляться, так что просто выложу перевод. М.б. кому-нибудь приглянется или поможет.


So, primarly, we should decide, what we need for Elf to play with full Nature build?
There are 4 issues:

1) Magic Guild level 4. Obviously, the most attractive spells "Summon elementals" and "Fire wall" appear only on the 14th combat level. I.e. you can already start playing with Nature build on the 14th combat level, but here comes another issue.

2) The upgrade of treefolk - an improved unit gets "Unlimited retaliation" special ability while in defense (entangling attacking foes), has higher defense, "Take roots" special ability (50% Defense bonus, 100% with "Stand your ground" talent), higher damage (+3 min and max damage). Without this upgrade rather hard and practically impossible to play.
That's why an opportunity to play Elf with Nature build appears on the 15th or 16th combat level, obviously, if you aren't a donator.

3) Specific playing style. Yep, playing style. If you are a born "rusher", love to run forward in kill'em'all style, than Nature build is not your path. It requires understanding of play by "chaos", self-possession (combats much longer), prudence and correct choise of spells, depending on the combat situation. We neither have meteorites and chain lightnings to bomb back and forth, nor sorcery to cast spells quickly, thus we don't have any right to be wrong.
Any mistake from you leads to your defeat, which is why I often see people, using my build and rough draft with no consultation how to use them, which lose to everyone with no exeption.

4) Non-main FSL. Sadly, non-main FSL is more imortant than high Elven FSL. The point is that the attack and initiative don't play big role for the Elf in Nature build, but the defense. However, your main unit in combat, Ironroot treefolk, has 100+ defense with the Defense ability, and extra 2-3 points won't give much benefits, while any non-main FSL gives you pure 3% damage and magic resistance, which is very important.
